Spotlights make up the bulk of our content and used to spotlight certain achievements or events our sport teams, clubs, and students accomplished. These kinds of posts were important to maximize the people we cover both in the book and on our social media. Over the year we spotlighted 23 sports teams, 8 fine arts, and 7 events/clubs.

Part of what made spotlight post special to me was finding different ways to showcase all types of students. For example, at the end of football I created the "Not so football recap” to celebrate and thank the groups, such as the band and BIZ concessions students, who add to Friday night lights atmosphere and make them as memorable as they are. Spotlights were made for all types of activities at LT and it was important that even the smallest clubs felt seen.
